After seven years of being a Pharmacy Technician., I changed my course of study to Oriental Medicine. In 2011 I earned my Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Degree from The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR merging both my Western medicine training with my new Eastern medicine knowledge. At this college, I was able to gain experience treating pediatric patients, musculoskeletal pain, digestive issues, etc. with acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese massage), and Chinese herbs. I joined Sun and Moon Acupuncture Clinic in October of 2011. Previous to joining Sun and Moon Acupuncture Clinic, my skills were put to use at OCOM's two clinic locations, The Hollywood Senior Center, and at the Quest Center of Integrative Health. I am also trained in acu-detox, acupoint injection therapy,  and hold a Diplomate of Acupucture with the National Certification Commission for Acupucture and Oriental Medication (NCCOAM).
